MEDIATICINO

13 March 2024

In March 2024, Matilde Melotto started her doctoral studies at the Institute of Public Health, as part of the GIOCO project, investigating the role of different recreational activities (offline, hybrid and online) in the socio-emotional development of children and adolescents. She will work together with Giovanna Pedroni, already a scientific collaborator at the Institute and, from July 2024, also a PhD student on the project. Giovanna will instead focus on the role of various play activities in the cognitive and physical functioning of children and adolescents. Furthermore, from March to June 2024, Sophie Mayen, PhD student at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna, joins the group as a visiting researcher to conduct secondary data analyses with data collected within the MEDIATICINO project, investigating the interplay of parental mediation and mental health among youth.
